Description
Chardonnay, rare and precious in Beaujolais, is the only grape variety in Beaujolais Blanc.
It comes from plots planted on limestone and granite soils.
A low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks is completed by a light blend of old wine in oak barrels.
Tasting
Eye : a golden colour with an emerald hue, clear and bright.
Nose : aromas of white flowers, apricot, citrus fruit, finely spiced cardamom and grey pepper.
Mouth : ripe and well balanced between freshness, fruitiness, substance, a nice lemony persistence and a mentholated note.
Food & Wine Pairing : Salmon terrine, sushi, grilled sole, monkfish with green pepper, blanquette de la mer, lemon chicken, fresh or semi-dried goat cheese, gouda with cumin, abundance.
