Ch. Moulin de la Bridane 2006

At the end of the Ancien Régime, the parish of Saint Laurent du Médoc had a priest named Abbé Bridane. As was often the case at that time among the secular clergy, he had another activity; he was a miller.

His mill was located in the commune of Reignac (now Saint Julien). It was Abbé Bridane's mill. His trace has remained in local history because he was a swearing priest, favourable to the ideas of the revolution.

His political stance allowed him to continue his ministry and his milling activity.
