Pouilly Fumé - aoc

Cépage Sauvignon Blanc
Sol Limestone soils with some flint
Elevage 52 months on lees

Description

This prestigious cuvée is a nod to Donatien Bahuaud's passion for books. It was from books that he drew his inspiration and imagined the playlets sculpted by Auguste Pichaud (a sculptor from Nantes) on the theme of wine and gourmet food.

Located to the east of the Loire, Pouilly Fumé is the only Burgundy appellation that is part of the Centre Loire wines. This micro-vineyard, which fits in the palm of your hand, offers mainly limestone soils in the north of the appellation with a small proportion of flint.
