Description

Mille e una Notte was born from the desire of Giacomo and Gabriella, the founders of Donnafugata, to create a great Sicilian red wine with the contribution of Giacomo Tachis. Today, it is a flagship wine of Italian oenological excellence and the result of a tailor-made process that is the basis of Donnafugata's production philosophy.

Tasting

The taste is in keeping with the fragrance, with a fruity background of blackberries and cherries preserved in alcohol. Full-bodied, with pleasant tannins, Mille e una Notte 2008 confirms its complexity and elegance, typical characteristics of this important wine, the flagship of Donnafugata's red wines.

Food pairing: Rack of lamb, pappardelle with pork stew, roasts, Tournedos Rossini.
