Description
Located in the commune of saint-emilion, but bordering on pomerol, the estate consists of 39 hectares divided into forty-five plots. each one is, to a certain extent, treated like a separate vineyard because of the differences in the age of the vines, grape variety, soil type, etc. The combination of these many facets accounts for cheval blanc's great complexity.

Tasting
The first nose, at first discreet, quickly shows its aromatic complexity. The fruit dominates, mixing red and black fruits such as cherry, raspberry, blackberry and blackcurrant.
The floral register is not lacking, this wine expresses violet, rose, peony, lilac. Aeration gradually brings out peppery, spicy, almost caramelised notes.
The nose shines with its brightness and clarity. The attack, creamy and voluminous, extends to a mid-palate with powerful but coated tannins, rich and elegant, voluminous and refined.
It is the balance between the tannins and the acidity that gives this wine its breed and gives it an interminable, fresh and fruity length. The aromatic persistence of this Cheval Blanc is impressive.
