Description
Produced by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, Flechas de los Andes, "Punta de Flechas" means "the point of the arrows" and refers to the five arrows in the Rothschild family emblem symbolising the five brothers at the beginning of their dynasty. This wine is made from a selection of Malbec grapes grown in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, 1100 feet above sea level. One third of the wine was aged for 10 months in oak barrels.
Tasting
Eye: deep red with purple highlights.
Nose: fruity, fresh and seductive, with spicy notes provided by the herbs of our land.
Mouth: direct and lively, the result of a good balance between soft tannins and moderate acidity. Traces of oak add complexity and reinforce the character of Punta Malbec.
Serving temperature: 16° C
Malbec is a wine to be drunk within 3 to 4 years of production in order to preserve its fruitiness and freshness.
