Our House therefore pays tribute to his vision by offering a new edition of Krug Grande Cuvée each year, the most generous expression of champagne.
Now known as Krug Grande Cuvée, Cuvée Numéro 1 is the most generous expression of Champagne, recreated each year, regardless of the annual climatic variations. Krug Grande Cuvée is a blend of over 120 different wines from more than ten different years.
This blend confers a richness of aroma and flavour that could not be expressed with the wines of a single year. These wines are like members of an orchestra playing in perfect harmony.

Eye : Visually, this Champagne has a pale gold colour and fine, lively bubbles that promise incomparable pleasure.
Nose : Aromas of flowers, ripe, candied and dried citrus fruits, as well as almond paste and gingerbread stimulate the nose.
Palate : Notes of hazelnut, nougat, barley sugar, fruit and citrus jelly, almonds, brioche and honey explode in the mouth.
