LBV 2018

Quinta do Vallado, founded in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.

It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth and near the town of Peso da Régua.

The Quinta belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains in the hands of her descendants to this day.

Aroma : Elegant, combining fresh and intense aromas of black fruits with some spicy notes.

Taste : Black fruits (cherries), supported by very soft mature tannins, with an intense, long finish.

Varieties : Old vines containing a mixture of different grapes varieties (field blend).
