Acquired by the family in 1963, the Château de Musset vineyard now has nearly 27 hectares planted. It is one of the most important properties of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. A new (hyper-modern) cellar was built in 2000.
Close to the confluence of the Dordogne and the Isle, Lalande de Pomerol benefits, like the neighboring AOCs, from a sunny, hot and humid climate, perfectly suited to the vines. The vineyard is planted on clay-gravelly and sandy-gravelly soil.
Château de Musset has been selected in several editions of the Guide Hachette as well as in the Guide des Vins Gilbert & Gaillard.
