It all started with Aigle les Murailles, more than 100 years ago. Today, appreciated throughout Switzerland, the lizard wine is the founding father of a lineage that now includes five vintages. Previously available only in white, Aigle les Murailles is now also available in red, rosé, brut pétillant and brut rosé.
Tasting
Eye : Beautiful lemon yellow colour, deep, clear and sparkling.
Nose : Fine and delicate, with aromas reminiscent of lime blossom, mineral and chalky notes typical of the gypsum-veined terroir.
Mouth : Elegant and fruity, it reveals aromas of mango and lime blossom, accompanied by a subtle mineral touch. The generous and powerful structure envelops the palate. A charming finish thanks to its opulent and sensual roundness.
Food pairing : As an aperitif, with a fish or vegetable terrine, trout meunière, asparagus in mousseline sauce or with shellfish, kidneys, blanquette de veau and poultry in sauce. It also goes very well with hard cheeses.
