Saint-Emilion - aoc

Cabernet Sauvignon
Description
Located in the commune of saint-emilion, but bordering on pomerol, the estate consists of 39 hectares divided into forty-five plots. each one is, to a certain extent, treated like a separate vineyard because of the differences in the age of the vines, grape variety, soil type, etc. The combination of these many facets accounts for cheval blanc's great complexity.

Tasting
Eye : The ruby colour has purplish tints and the depth is impressive.
Nose : the complexity and aromatic intensity, the density that will develop further on the palate. Red and black fruits intermingle, raspberry, blackcurrant, cherry. With aeration, different registers follow one another. The pinkish floral notes are followed by peppery and balsamic notes. The wine expresses both freshness with a hint of mint and density, the character of fruit paste with notes of blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry.
Palate : a lot of volume in the attack, the wine stretches on fruity and spicy registers. The mid-palate is very full and the wine shows good length. The tannins are very tight, of a remarkable quality. A lot of freshness in this wine. The aromatic return is floral, evoking violets.
