Description
The name comes from the wind-mill (moulin à vent in French), which is 300 years old. The vineyard was already cultivated by the Romans.
Tasting
"A racy wine. A beautiful dark garnet colour. The aromas are intense with distinction, with notes of peony, tea rose and quetsche, often with hints of liquorice. On the palate, a great wine construction, "fatness" and nobility. The persistence is long, fine, subtly greedy. This is the Beaujolais cru that comes closest to the Burgundies of the Côte d'Or.
